Role Summary:
The Arabic Teacher at BeCurious plays a key role in creating a joyful and engaging environment where young children learn the Arabic language through play, exploration, and creativity. This role goes beyond teaching vocabulary-it nurtures children’s love for Arabic by connecting it with stories, songs, and cultural experiences in a warm and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive, age-appropriate Arabic lessons aligned with BeCurious curriculum.
- Integrate songs, stories, rhymes, and play-based activities to make learning Arabic fun and memorable.
- Foster a classroom environment that supports curiosity, kindness, and confidence.
- Monitor and document student progress, sharing feedback with parents and supervisors.
- Collaborate with other teachers and assistant teachers to enrich cross-curricular activities.
- Promote positive social interaction, empathy, and teamwork among children.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom where every child feels valued and supported.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Arabic to preschool or primary-aged children.
- Strong command of spoken and written Arabic; ability to engage children through expressive storytelling.
- Good communication skills in English (preferred).
